Elder Network is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit that was formed in 1988. We have been serving Dodge County since 2022, and are working to provide the community with supportive services and information for older adults and caregivers. We want to take the time to honor those living with mental health issues, as May is Mental Health Awareness Month. According to the World Health Organization, “approximately 14% of adults aged 70 and over live with a mental disorder.” Mental disorders can affect your thinking, mood, and behavior, but can be managed through support and treatment. Dodge County offers many resources to support mental health and empower you on your journey, including Minnesota Prairie County Alliance.
