Mrs. Fox is the new female principal at Triton High School. She was hired last spring but officially started in July. Mrs. Fox is taking on a big responsibility that has a lot of drama, detentions, and tardies, but also a lot of love, jokes, and smiles.
When Mrs. Fox was asked how she became interested in becoming a principal, she said, ¨I admired my brother, who was also principal¨. She also said she didn´t have a really good principal when she started teaching, so she wanted to be ¨the principal that students and teachers can go to when needed. ¨ During her time being a principal, she expressed how welcoming the students and staff are and that she had made some good connections. She and Mrs. Johnson are good buddies and are together most of the time, helping one another out. Mrs. Fox is very new to being a principal and said that it is the hardest part of the job so far. She feels like she needs to get more organized but is getting better. It is a lot of work being a principal at a high school, but there are a lot of good things about it. To Mrs. Fox, the kids and staff make up for all the hard things about the job and say ¨she wouldn't trade it for the world! ¨
