Triton Public School will open the first full week of September with grades 6 through 12 starting on Tuesday September 6th and K through 5 starting on Thursday September 8th. Superintendent Craig Schlichting anticipates about 1,000 students to start out the 2022-23 school year. There will be fifteen new teachers starting with the Triton district this year.

The elementary, middle and high school principals will be the same as last school year and with the 2021 construction behind them the facilities are already prepared for the new school year. Everything is back to normal after the restrictions of the pandemic. The transportation department has added five new buses over the last two years to service the seventeen different bus routes. The new ZED building in Kasson will be completed by September making easier transportation for some thirty Triton students which assess that facility.

Fall sports are gearing up with a new football coach, Brandon Neseth, high school social studies teacher. Sadie Short will coach the cross country team and Rebecca Goossens will coach the volleyball team. Andrea Possehl started as the Triton nurse last spring and will be full  time with the district.
