Triton Public Schools Celebrate and Honor Veterans

Posted

On Friday, November 11, Triton Public Schools joined the nation in celebrating and honoring Veterans. As an annual tradition at Triton, our young Cobras are given the opportunity to thank and honor our local Veterans, which includes relatives of many staff and students.  Marit Lang, a Veteran herself, ran a very successful program that featured a slide show of local Veterans, readings from several 5th grade students, Patriotic music played by the High School band, led by Mr. Gray, and the presentation of the Triton paver.

The 2022 paver was awarded this year to David Livingston, USAF.  Mr. Livingston, who is an active member of our local Lions Club and American Legion, served as a member of the 1352nd Photographic Group based in Los Angeles, California.  After his service, Mr. Livingston returned to Dodge Center where he began a family dairy farm. Mr. Livingston has had a positive role with Triton as a part of our transportation department for over 10 years where he has safely transported Triton Students to and from school, to various activities, and on many field trips.   We are honored to have Mr. Livingston be a part of our Triton family and thank him for his service.
