Triton Welcomes three new teachers this year

Lesley VanderWall is the new High School counselor. Lesley is from North Mankato and earned her bachelor’s degree at Augustana College – Sioux Falls and her masters at Walden University. She lived in Colorado, Illinois and Michigan before moving back to Minnesota in 2021. She is married with 3 kids and a dog currently resides in Hayfield. Her hobbies are reading, crafting and taking walks with their dog.

Amelia Spilde will be the new Special Ed/Specific Learning Disability interventionist at Triton this year. She is from Brooklyn, Wisconsin. She attended St. Mary’s University of Minnesota for EL, ED, BA, K-6. Her experience includes After School Program Lead Teacher, 1 on 1 paraprofessional for 4th grade, student teaching 3rd grade and clinical experience in K – 12. Her hobbies are reading, traveling, hiking, hunting & fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Morgan Coy will be teaching 5th through 12th grade band this year. She is from Mantorville, Minnesota. She graduated from Luther College in 2024. Last year she taught K-6 general music in Lake City. She will also work with the Pep Band at Triton. She graduated from K-M high school in Kasson and an interesting note is that her father was in the first graduating class from Triton. She enjoys being active at the gym, taking hikes and walks with the dog as well as snowmobiling and boating.
