I have lived in the community 35 years this time around, other wise, I was born and raised on a farm just 4 miles NW of Dodge Center.
My wife Nadine and I, have a daughter Karma, 4 grandkids and two cats. I have a Brother Roger, and a sister Loretta. My parents and oldest sister are both passed.
After HS I went to Rochester Trade School , 2 year Mechanist course. Worked in that field for 3 years after and then went to work for Mayo Clinic in Rochester (42years). I was maintaining laboratory equipment, in the clinic buildings and the two hospitals. I have been retired now for 6 years.
I have served on committees, as a board member. I am a Dodge Center Lions member, serve on the board, Riverside cemetery board member, Church council, Dodge County Sheriff's Posse for over 20 years.
I'd like to see Dodge Center grow, in peoples and business , and for the uptown to become alive like it was in yester year.
I've heard it said that we need our Band Shell back up town again, People enjoy music. I would like to address some of the complaints I have heard and see if we can find ways to make improvements.
