Scott F. Stevens, 72, of Hager City, WI, passed away peacefully at home with his wife, Juanita by his side.

Scott was born August 15, 1951, in Owatonna, MN to Philip and Arlys (Lebeck) Stevens. Scott was a member of the Local 49’ers Operating Engineers Union in Rochester for 45 years. Scott started in construction as a home builder before finishing his career as a heavy machine operator. On July 7, 2012, Scott married Juanita Rix. He loved being on the river, going boating, he loved riding his motorcycle and Scott loved listening to music. In retirement, Scott enjoyed making beautiful dollhouses and bird houses as his hobby, even creating many of his own designs. He had a passion for the quiet and peacefulness of being outdoors and being surrounded by wildlife.

Scott is survived by his wife, Juanita; daughter, Carian Stevens of SanTan Valley, AZ; grandson, Trenton Edwards of WI., and his mother, Arlys Cranston (DuWayne Mickelson). Scott is also survived by his brothers, Mark (Sandy) of Kingman, AZ, Val (Rita) of Faribault, MN; aunt, Lucy Phelps of Rochester and by his brothers-in-law, Frank Rix of Kasson and Mark (Brenda) Rix of Cresco, IA. He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Stevens and by his uncle, Jacob Lebeck.

A private celebration of Scott’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Byron Funeral Home, Byron, MN.
